Profile
An active supporter of TRAIL (Trail Recycled Art in Landscape), in his 4th year of organising text-based events at the festival with a working knowledge of the written and spoken word - teaching Creative Writing and acting as organiser of numerous poetry and prose events in London, Bristol, Cardiff, Penarth and latterly, Teignmouth, Paignton and Torquay.
A proven exponent of short-short fiction, the majority of whose prose work is described as flash fiction: the texts deal with the fantastic nature of the ordinary imparting an exotic dream-like quality, often overlaid with myth and traditional story-telling narrative. They're also very, very short.
Literary Activities
Publication of numerous poems, prose poems and short-short stories in literary 'small magazines', AND:
Summer 2011: developing a collaboration with musicians and writers from Paignton and the South Hams to generate improvised music and improvised words at a variety of venues;
